Halting the Tech Bubble

Time to say goodbye (for now).

Halting the Tech Bubble

Hello everybody who is subscribed and is receiving these posts in their inboxes.

After pondering for a while about the future of this newsletter, I decided it’s time to put a pause to it. I don’t know if it’s going to be permanent, but I know I have to stop it for a while.

The reasons are twofold:

  1. I lack the time and energy to curate content and publish an edition weekly. This is due to having too many projects going on at the same time (Vuuh, my main CTO job, The Quest of the Hero, my indie game project who is approaching the release phase, but I still have plenty of things to do and Photozilla.io, my SaaS attempt). So, with all the things going on work-wise, I have to cut some things back, and the best candidate is this newsletter.
  2. Not the traction I hoped for. The newsletter is kind of flatlining for a while. I tried to iterate on the format and the content, but ultimately I couldn’t find a format that attracts enough people to justify the effort I put into it.

I will continue to write form time to time on my personal blog, https://vladcalin.ro , and if you want to read what thoughts I put out, you can hop in there.

This newsletter will stay on, but will be inactive. Maybe some day I’ll restart it, we’ll see. I like the “The Tech Bubble” branding so it’s not goodbye forever. But we’ll see when and where this restart will be. It’s “shop closed” for now :)
